SUPPORTING VETERANS, SERVICE MEMBERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES
Indiana Salute to Veterans started when two men discussed their ideas on the back of a truck in Memphis, Indiana. Greg Alexander, with Chuck Adams and friends, had just finished 3 weeks straight of helping in a town that had just been hit by a devastating tornado in Henryville, Indiana. They decided to start a program to Honor Veterans and they called it Indiana Salute to Veterans.
It is growing day by day.
WHAT IS ISTV?
WHO WE ARE
ISTV is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to show appreciation and express gratitude to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, both past and present.
WHAT WE DO
ISTV accomplishes its mission by offering programs and services for Veterans, Military Personnel, and their families. Our organization works cooperatively with Federal, State, and County Veteran Services, as well as other nonprofit organizations.
WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
ISTV believes that just saying thank you is not enough, and that the words we say need to be followed with action and a commitment to meet the varied needs of the community it serves.
